It's a dirty job when you're a faery godmother...but someone's got to do it.

Saffron Sawyer's world is spinning out of control in more ways than one. Her newly acquired pooch, Pumpkin, hates her guts and it's highly possible that the trolls are reneging on their promise of temporary peace. Saffron is also on her way to setting the world record for the number of magical wands lost in one month while the continued proximity of Jasper, the emerald-eyed Devil's Advocate, is turning her into a near-helpless lust puddle.

Unfortunately, life is never simple in the Office of Faery Godmother...especially when your past mistakes are preparing to come back and haunt you.

Just another great story well written by Helen Harper . I love the humor, even though this series could have had a few more funny scenes . Saffron is a great character and while I had a hard time getting used to Ruth Urquhart in book 1, being used to Saskia Maarleveld for her books, , she really grew on me.

great series by Helen Harper

I found the first 2 books fun but the 3rd I couldn't finish. I get so tired of angst, when the author starts the tipical main character won't tell what's going on and everyone is keeping secrets I stop reading. I don't know why writers think that angst creates suspense but it doesn't, it starts anxiety and I have enough of that in real life lol. Plus the book has a bad ending as far as I'm concerned ( yes I skipped to the end). I prefer series that each book has an end that way waiting for the next to be published isn't so bad. It would have been a good book if in the end the truth would have come out but it didn't.

Loved first 2 BUT.....

Not as good as the 1st few books in the series. Lacked suspense and wasn't as humorous.

Not as good as the first few books in the series

Very disappointed with the ending. The first two books were pretty good but this one was disappointing. Unnecessary secrets and angst between the main characters. No closure provided, didn’t expect that.

Disappointing
