In it you'll hear candid stories written by the indomitable women who have lived them. This book has been very helpful in presenting different aspects and symptoms of ASD in women. Many anecdotes were relatable to my history. I now know that I am not alone. I have a tribe!

Answered many Questions

Not too much information for women, it mostly focuses on helping girls up to adulthood. That informations is very good. But there's not much practical information for women

No so much women but rather girls

This book is a collection of articles related to autism and particularly some of the social challenges that girls may face as they grow and develop. It didn't bother me that different voices provided contrasting and sometimes conflicting information. These are opinions from unique individuals and not meant to create a unified whole. My biggest critique it that this book has not aged well, especially in regards to describing the teen social scene, and ideas on helping girls navigate it. I found it a bit cathartic to hear my own challenges described, but I'll have to look elsewhere if I want advice in helping my daughter. (My Space, the Sims, MTV...do these even exist anymore? )

Some useful nuggets
