Ian Fleming Steel Dagger Award Winning-Author of AGENT SEVENTEEN

“John Brownlow is a master of suspense.” —Jeff Abbott, New York Times bestselling author of Traitor’s Dance

I am waiting for someone to kill me. Tonight would be a good night for it.

Agent Seventeen, the most infamous hit man in the world, has quit. But whoever wants to become Assassin Eighteen must track him down and kill him first. So when a bullet hits the glass inches from his face, he knows who fired it—doesn't he?

It turns out that the sniper isn't the hardened killer he was expecting. It's Mireille—a mysterious silent child abandoned in the woods with instructions to pull the trigger. Reuniting with his spiky lover, Kat, Seventeen has to protect Mireille and discover who sent her to kill him and why. But the road he must travel is littered with bodies. And the answer, when it comes, will blow apart everything Seventeen thought he knew.

Full of twists and turns that made it hard to put down. Love this series!

Great story, amazing narration!

I really enjoyed Agent 17, and the narrator in that and this audiobook was great. But Agent 18 crashed and burned after the first few chapters, to the point that I had to stop listening before it was half over. The agent's character just didn't click with me at all, nor did any of the other characters in the story. Not recommended at all.

GOOD NARRATOR BUT THAT'S IT

I wish I gave up on this one much earlier. The level of incredulity starts out fairly high and then gets to the point where it insults one's intelligence.

Unbelievable...but not in a good way

Narrator was awesome. First quarter had me hooked even with messed up gun details like, the only round in the revolver was the one in the chamber.

BUT then it turned into just another assassin who unbelievably grew a conscience and decided to save the world by altruistically giving his life. One without any real explanation of how he got like terminator and John Wick combined.

What they did with the doomsday device was also silly.

It had potential, but ended up pooping the bed. With just a few tweaks it could have been awesome. The ending really ruined it for me.

Beginning great! Ending ugh!
