Along with Assassin 97, he is sent to retrieve Caine, but his growing affection towards her becomes more pronounced as they bounce through the Renaissance in search of Caine. When Assassin 97 is captured and tortured, Brewer must make the ultimate sacrifice.

To rescue Assassin 97, Brewer and Assassin 101 must violate Guild law and, with it, accept possible execution. Can Assassin 101 save his wife and his future, or will the Guild leave her to history?

Better than the first one!

This book in the series is even better than the first one! Well written and well narrated, the characters continue to be developed and the story is very exciting, and full of action. Looking forward to the third one!

About time to end this series

As Assasin 101 would say, it's about time to end this. Confusing plotting, lacking the historical interest of the first book in the series and featuring characters that it's difficult to care about.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend this offering, notwithstanding the overall concept is compelling in many ways.
