Great premise but...

The books are worth your listing too but... Vanhorn just can't stop whinny about his past injuries. We are also supposed to believe that he feels bad for killing the Orrkasi one minute and the next how that's all he's good at. The Orrkasi that eat humans and cook us alive! Then in the next breath he professing is undying love for Beatrix then he can't stopping thinking about Holly.

And most important don't forget that he's a Tac team operator or he will remind you in the next paragraph.
