In Atlas: Fort Bone, the second book of the Portal Crushers saga, Atlas and his crew find a new stronghold in the unforgiving Wasteland Apocalypse. Turning Fort Bone into a thriving settlement, they attract allies and face new dangers, strengthening their community while uncovering the secrets of their strange world.

As Atlas’s vision for a lasting refuge grows, the Portal Crushers’ unity is tested by unexpected alliances, growing ambitions, and a brutal landscape that doesn’t forgive weakness. But with each victory, they take one step closer to realizing Atlas’s dream of a sanctuary and something far greater.

I've listened to both books and really enjoyed book one. The male virtual voice was great but the female voice in this one didn't bring out the story. It kind of fell flat for me. I would love to see how the next Atlas comes out.

The MC is kind of an idiot. His keeps making the same mistakes. The whole story is really lame and involves fully grown men and women being told to do a lame theme song singalong to ease the post apocalyptic trauma of being kidnapped and attacked. It’s awkward, pointless and insanely lame.

The naming schemes and relationship dynamics sound like they were inspired by a 10 year old .

The MC stops being in charge AGAIN! His greatest regrets and he keeps repeating the same things. He completely gave up his right to lead again after whining about how much he regretted not being more in charge. He is a mostly pointless MC who is only the MC in name. He is only important as a tool for the other characters not really one who is vital to the story.

It’s a mistake I won’t make again. Guess what he does again? The arguments made usually hinge on on simple minded logic that often times literally doesn’t apply. Jon talks about word spreading if they do this or that. How? There is one way for people to communicate and it’s a one way trip to one other location. And right off the bat the first thing someone does is lie, cause why not.

Ultra manly buff bars, seriously is the author a 9 yr old?
