Terrorgon

Terrorgon was our enemy, our nemesis, our doom and our doomsday. According to popular legend, it had roamed our world in the elder days, when pagan gods still ruled. After a fierce war, those false gods threw those monsters into the abyss, chaining them down there forever.

Apparently, forever hadn’t been nearly long enough.

Now, without lesser gods to handle the challenge, the only thing standing between us and Armageddon was the government.

Which did we fear more? I couldn’t say.

Meanwhile, I was just a guy trying to get along, keeping my head down, yet always helping the next guy. Serendipity had a thing for me, so I obliged my strange fortune as far as possible. Somehow, things always worked out, but when Terrorgon showed up in person, fortune took a hike, and I was the one left holding the bag.

How do I get myself out of this one? I absolutely don’t know.
