Very realistic responses

Loved the characters and their growth. The slow near collapse of society as power and communication die. The surprising characters and skills that did and didn’t survive or thrive.

Loved every minute of it and the reader was awesome. Would like to hear more books from this writer

Good story

I did like the storyline quite a bit. For a change world didn’t go to complete shits once shit hit the fan, and most people stayed just people.
Characters were sufficiently interesting and relatable. Ending a bit less than epic, but that’s ok. Narration great. Overalls a solid listen.

Beautiful storytelling

I listened to this screenwriter on a podcast and he talked about his venture into novel writing. The visual world and expert pacing kept me engaged throughout and the richness of the characters believability proved very entertaining. A great read (or listen).

Entertaining

I did think the story had potential but the outcome left me wanting more. Overall I’d say it an OK read. Could have done more with the story and characters.
