After the tragic passing of his troubled on-and-off-again boyfriend Spencer Franks, Dylann Anderson makes the decision to start over in the bright and sunny city of Los Angeles, California. Dylann takes refuge in the arms of Reyansh Khatri, a talented young therapist in Los Angeles when he is unable to properly mourn the loss of Spencer.

Dylann is able to express his anguish and get the closure he needs so that he can move on with his life with the assistance of Reyansh, who is not only intelligent and perceptive but also painfully attractive. Soon, however, an instant attraction develops between them, and Dylann becomes embroiled in an unethical relationship. The repercussions of this relationship could potentially shake the previously formed stability that Dylann has.

Can Dylann be victorious on the West Coast and emerge on top despite the fact that the odds are once again stacked against him? Dylann battles to make Los Angeles seem like home with the help of both new and old friends. From dealing with the aftermath of his romance with Reyansh to trying to solve the city's war with homelessness.

Dylann is determined to succeed and begin anactual relationship with Reyansh, until a problem from his past threatens to stand in their way. A new city, a fresh chance to fall in love? Or will Dylann's past keep getting in the way of his only chance to be happy?
