I had bought this book before. Wasted money darn it. Although I really liked the book.

The narrator

I will never listen to another book by this narrator. It was difficult to listen to the way she emphasizes the works and her breathy reading. It is difficult for me to concentrate on the substance of the book. Not sure I can even finish listening to!

The story is good! The reading not so much!

I had planned on reading the whole series, but if its the same narrator. I wont make it through even one more! He voice is nasally and whinny!

I really liked the transition to this series from Emma griffin.

So much potential but….

I love the FBI Emma Griffin series so I was very excited for a new series by this author. However, it felt like Ava’s character is very much mimicking Emma’s character. Also, using the same narrator didn’t help the book. I wanted to love it then wanted to like it as I listened but ultimately couldn’t finish.
