The Paschal season has been hijacked by church growth movements, which have focused more on using it as a draw to increase church attendance than on celebrating it as the greatest victory day for the planet. In many places, we have created elaborate productions instead of preparing our hearts to fully embrace all that God wants to do and say to us.
