The doomsday virus first appeared in China’s wet markets and quickly swept around the globe. Everyone expected it would be deadly. No one conceived it would end the world. Billions died, governments ceased to function and social order collapsed. On the brink of extinction, one of the last operating infectious disease laboratories created a vaccine using the blood serum from a gray wolf. It worked, saving countless lives. But the doomsday virus proved more stealthy than anyone expected. Concealed in the infected’s DNA, the virus used the vaccine to transform its host. Now the fight for survival is against two deadly enemies; the transformed and the virus that created them.
