God created you for a good purpose. You cannot deny or disown that special purpose in your life. In life, you cannot deny to have participated in the salvation of another person in life. You cannot deny to have assisted another person in one way or another in your life. You cannot deny the use of your life by God for one thing or another to save the soul of another person in life. Absolutely, you are useful to others in your life even without your liking.
May you remember that Jesus poured out his blood and his love for all your needs, yourself and others? Now, you filled with his love, may you desire to turn away from anything that separates you from Him. May you know being with him is the most important thing in your life?
Psalms 40:4. Happy are those who trust the Lord, and who do not turn to idols or join those who worship false gods. Only God deserves praise and honor. Those who trust in the Lord will never lack anything in life. Their lives will serve as examples to those whose lives are tainted. That is because people learn from appropriate examples. May that appropriate example be in your personality?
Psalms 40:10 simply says, I have not kept the news of salvation to myself; I have always spoken of your faithfulness and help. In the assembly of all your people, I have not been silent about your loyalty and constant love. In this case, we as humans should stand out instead of remaining silent when we notice others are doing wrong. We are encouraged to admonish wrongdoers. If you keep silence in the presence of wrong doers, you never serve your purpose in life. Tell your friend to change his bad ways and you will have served your purpose in life. Your purpose in life is to correct those in the wrong.
Psalms 32:1-2. Happy are those whose wrongs stand pardoned and sins forgiven. Happy is the one whom the Lord does not accuse of doing wrong; and who is free from all deceit. The world is today full of deception and false promises. False promises are driving the world in the wrong direction and axis.
Psalms 32:8. The Lord says, “I will teach you the way you should go; I will instruct you and advise you.” God is merciful and kind, He is all love. He has promised the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the people to avoid seven sins against the Holy Spirit. Those sins are presumption, despair, resisting the known truth, envy of others’ spiritual goodness, obstinacy in sin, and final impenitence.
Final impenitence is very dangerous because God will never save any soul without its willingness to get salvation. In other words, God will never save you without your participation; you must participate in your own salvation. The unwilling soul commits the sin of final impenitence, where the Holy Spirit gives up help of the concerned soul and allows its destruction by Satan for total and irrevocable disobedience to God by giving up their salvation.
Therefore, your good purpose in life, apart from saving your own soul, is to participate in the salvation of other people’s souls. Never deny the fact that you are in a position to give counsel to anyone in this world. God expects you to admonish the sinner and expects you to give counsel to the broken hearts because it is your duty to assist someone to see God.
God’s reward awaits you for your good efforts to ensure that others see their God because of you. Read Psalm 72: 1-19 and see the beauty of a father praying and asking God to bless his son. It is the best example of one human being pleading for another to see God. That is an example that all must follow and retain in order to have served your purpose in life.
