The Rhodesian bush war was the most intense conflict in Sub-Saharan African history. Backed by the Russians and Chinese and their allies, two large communist terrorist armies ranged against Rhodesia and were determined to wrest control of what was then one of the richest countries on the continent from its Western aligned white government. Landlocked and, at the behest of Britain, shunned by the international community, vastly outnumbered and outgunned, there seemed to be little prospect of the Rhodesians withstanding the onslaught. Incredible men!!!

Virtual voice narration is TRASH!! Other than that… Unbelievable men, unbelievable times and tragically UNIMAGINABLE BETRAYAL! We’ll never know what should have been… but hey we have the world’s bright spot of Zimbabwe instead¡

Excellent story.

Definitely worthwhile for History and Military history buffs. The only problem is the virtual voice narration; the AI has a problem with African place names as well as with South African English pronunciation. The AI voice also can not read punctuation well.
