This book was such a sweet second chance listen. 🎧 the chemistry between the characters through the narrators was palpable.

Blake x Dakota - Their passion was desperate, their story divine. They may have spent years apart but their souls never forgot what home felt like.

Wonderful characters!

Good story! At times I was so frustrated with Dakota! I thought clearly he is a good guy trying to fix the wrong….wake up girl! I loved when he was wooing her again…so much fun! The secondary characters are wonderful, from the parents to the families all nice additions. Not sure who is next but I look forward to it. The narrators do a great job and I enjoyed listening to them.

SHE says he cheated on her, breaking her heart forever & she took off. HE says there was no cheating, and she left for no reason. Eleven years later, they’re in the same tiny town and can’t seem to stay apart …

I enjoyed how they sorta butted heads, but then the miscomm wasn’t too dragged out. Enjoyed the ‘everyone knows everyone’ / small town vibes.

Overall:
A short, super sweet, small town, contemporary romance. The perfect companion for some mundane work, or exercise ;) .

One of my favorite stories by one of my favorite authors. Duncan and Kallestra do a fantastic job bringing Blake and Dakota to life. I could feel their pain, struggles and chemistry. I know some people aren't audiobook fans, but myself, I'm a sucker for them. Especially if the narrators are great. These two were perfect for Back to Us.

The storyline itself will tug on your heartstrings. High school sweethearts who break up over a huge misunderstanding and spend eleven years apart. A death in the family finally brings Dakota home after all this time. Trying her best to avoid Blake, it just wasn't in the cards. What was? Fate stepping in and reminding them both why neither have ever settled down. They belong together. Great story!! All the stars!

Great Listen. Narrators did a great job.
I enjoyed listening to these two story. High School Sweethearts, a misunderstanding which results into each blaming each other. Dakota staying away for a long time until the death of a loved one brings her back. Between the chemistry, the airing out the events that caused their breakup, the other characters and throw in an adorable child made this book interesting and entertaining.
