Book two explains the process of obtaining these "interviews from people on the Flipside". Jennifer Shaffer is a renowned medium/intuitive who works with law enforcement in the US to help find missing persons. Richard Martini is a best-selling author who either knew the people they seek to interview, or their class moderator Luana Anders (on the flipside) helps moderate the discussions. Each chapter is an exploration of what is said, research is done to verify details that are heard, and observations of the process are made. 9. “Buddha and Jesus walk into a bar”. Interviews with two people who claim to be avatars.
10. “Field trips”. An interview with Amelia Earhart and a journey to an akashic library.
11. “Ghost stories”. Ghost hunting with Garry Shandling, Gilda Radner, and John Belushi.
12. “Wednesday people”. With Anthony Bourdain, Kate Spade, and Robin Williams.
13. “Let It Be”. Afterword with Anthony Bourdain, Hal Ashby, and John Lennon with some parting words.

I could not stop listening!

I saw this particular audio book on Facebook. Curious about the Richard Martini oeuvre, I decided to dive in to his latest book. I was surprised that I did not need to listen to the hundreds of hours of other exploratory Martini material, to "get" this most recent book. What I found is a breathtaking new look at reality. The content is presented with such style, wit, and profundity that you can not help but be swept up by its unique and probable vision. Richard Martini narrates with such aplomb,and personality, that listening became a real treat. "Everyone who has ever lived continues to exist on the Flipside and if possible, can be asked direct questions." That is the book's unique premise. And the casual, interview-style format includes everyone from Robin Williams, Prince, and John Lennon. It also includes interviews from the "flipside" of Katie Spade and Anthony Bourdain. I would recommend this to anyone who is curious about the world beyond this world. It is intelligent, loving, and filled with laughter.

Important if true

I am 63 years old and these days the road behind me seems a lot longer than the road in front of me. I no longer follow the dogma of my religious upbringing but I have had numerous life experiences that point to the possibility that we are more than meatbots. Rich Martini is very accessible on the web and I appreciate that. as for this material it is provocative and I at least suspend my healthy skepticism enough to consider it. I do think regrettably that his acceptance of the "Channeling Eric" material is unfortunate. But, that is a different subject and so I only bring that up as a reason to give pause in giving all opinions equal weight. But, the strongest material for me is the workbook at the end. that gives me a starting point to do my own research or test. All in all it's well worth the price of admission.

What's Up w/Chapter 12? Why repeated from Vol 1?

This book was divided into two volumes. I think it should have been one for several reasons.

1) Chapter 12 is EXACTLY the same in both Audible books. In Volume One it is titled "Tom Wilbury 'Backstage Pass'" but in Volume Two it is "Consciousness - Unearthly Answers." Chapters are exactly the same so I'm going to assume it was an error. Now I need to buy the physical book to get the missing recorded chapter.

2) There was quite a bit of "old information" from his previous books that was almost word-for-word in BACKSTAGE PASS VOLS 1&2. Refer back to it but don't rehash in the exact same manner. It felt like it was word-for-word from his previous books. Def not, as he likes to say, "new information."

3) I was disappointed that what could have been a nice sized book similar to his previous works was divided into two volumes. There was the repeat of a chapter and rehashing of previous info as well as a workbook included at the end of both books (which appeared to be the same also.) I usually get both the Audible recorded book for when I'm driving AND the physical book to make notes in. Since this book was in two volumes I only purchased the Audible version.

Please Mr Martini, re-release this work as a single volume with chapter 12 corrected.
I will continue to purchase your books bc it has been an enlightening journey!
