Suddenly, Jesse and his friends are in danger, and once again they are forced to leave. A biker gang, under Chuck Bering’s direction, comes after Jesse and his friends. The leader, a mountain of a man named Sideshift, served time with Bear and both he and chuck want to see Jesse and anyone around him crushed.

Young Jessie’s knowledge with so much stuff

This had some pretty good twist and turns in it and you’re starting to see the character build in young Jessie, which is the vice or retired Jessie

Fresh and Outstanding

I really love this young version Jesse. It breaths some much needed new life into the original series. The building of a great main character and friends. Love how they get the bad guys in this series before the access to all the high end weapons they have in the original series. So it's a little more incentive in down to earth sorta way. Decided to go back and read the original series when Jesse is retired from Marine Corps. It made the original series even better.

Early Jesse

Always love our Jesse stories. Love that this book let's us know how his many friendships and alliances began.

Not so good

Weak story. Endless and pointless dialogue and detail that didn’t advance what little story there was. Found myself skipping through chapter after chapter looking for anything that advanced the storyline, Not sure how this one got published.
