Prudence Davies is one of Ellison Jones's least favorite people on earth. She's vindictive. She's mean. And the two share a twisted history. Or, they did.

When Prudence is murdered after a very public spat, Ellison finds herself a murder suspect. Worse, the investigating officer has it in for Ellison's homicide detective husband.

Old secrets. Old lies. New drama.

Can Ellison find the killer or will the bad blood between her and Prudence mean the end to all she holds dear?

I love this series and devoured this book on its first day!

I was a bit surprised to read that Prudence was getting killed in this book as the bad blood between Ellison and Prudence was always interesting. I felt there should have been a little more depth given to the motive and chase for the killer because of the history.
I loved that all the usual characters have gotten into a flow and it feels very solid in this book. There is a deeper trust and teamwork showing between Anarchy and Ellison and more respect between Ellison and her mother.
There are 2 new “cliffhangers” and I can’t wait to see what Julie does in the next book!!

So satisfying!!
