Meanwhile, the demon tonguing a bullet with my name on it is closing in. But, Nya is on the case, sifting through her contacts in the supernatural underworld to find a way to stop him.

But, the demon is not the only one holding a ladle and stirring up the pot. Migrating werewolves are leaving a trail of bodies like flower girls leave petals, there’s a haunting in Kansas City, a Faoladh who wants to give me a haircut, a couple of Cynocephali on the scent of a cursed object and a murdering incubus who might have what we need...no, not like that.

It’s true what they say: You go to Heaven for the scenery, but Hell for the company.

a hidden gem for urban fantasy readers

Loved this book! Stories like this often fall into the same old tropes, resorting to smarmy romance and sex when the story ideas run out. The world building here is fresh, with some new rules and new "baddies". There is also some familiar lore but the story doesn't fall prey to the too often repeated cliches that so many supernatural tales do. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a new series.

Devouring this series. Gritty and action packed but also has quiet moments of friendship and family. Still waiting for MFC to learn from her mistakes
Love Noah. He's a good kid and a great vehicle for giving exposition but blending it smoothly onto the action.

There's always more to hunt

With time running out and leads running thin, every encounter brings new clues to the mysterious demon gunning for Bane's early demise. With help from Bane's closest companions and old hunters a like, getting closer to the answers might not be the outcome Bane is looking for.
