60% good advice, 10% fluff, 30% bad advice

I am very disappointed in this book, not only because of the amount of "fluff" and the virtual voice (very disappointing for what could have been a higher caliber book), but the amount of bad advice given. These kinds of tactics may work for men in California, but in the culture and area (Southeastern United States) whwre I live this kind of behavioral modification tactics and passive aggressiveness will make you stay single forever. As a therapist myself, I found the "mind reading" and passive aggressive tactics advice to be the worst of all. While I will give the author credit for referencing some excellent books and articles which she took nuggets of wisdom from, I would not recommend this book to a client or a friend.

The advice can also be very dated, and the author feels out of touch with anyone younger than 40 years old. Also, if you have listened to many of her shorter ebooks you already know what half of this book is going to say.
