Good children's book

good children's book on American history. Focusing on a single, simple story, the story allows kids to get a small bite of history without being overwhelmed or bored.

He was an awesome person.

My granddaughter really enjoyed the book and learned a lot. she could not believe some of things he did. very good read. learned a lot.

This is a short story about Bass. Any story about Bass is worth listening to in my opinion.

Bass Reeves' life was used for Gunsmoke's hero

The man and the real hero of the west, Bass Reeves! His real life exploits can be seen in Matt Dillion (Gunsmoke) and Wild Wild West. Give a listen and you will want more. I did, I even went to see his statue...totally awesome!
