'The crystal keeper gazed around him at the shards of impure crystal, glittering furiously on the floor, and shivered with a terrible sense of foreboding.'

Twins Victoria Stitch and Celestine are denied their royal birth right. Celestine accepts the decision with good grace, but Victoria Stitch is consumed with her obsession for power.

The twins are like moonlight and sunshine—could it be possible to break free of the role you have been given, rewrite your story and change your own destiny?

Critic reviews

"Packed full of gothic glam and with a hefty dose of sparkles and glitter, Victoria Stitch is a fabulous anti-heroine." (Booktrust)

"This absorbing miniature melodrama is full of fraught sibling fondness between sweet, gentle Celestine and the marvellously ambitious and snooty Victoria." (The Guardian)

"A charming story about self-acceptance." (Kirkus)

my 8yo says - "its a really good book. it's good for people who like magic and fairies. it has a lot of magic in it. if you also like royal stuff you should read it because its about a fight for the throne and its got some betrayal in it. even though betrayal isn't good, its a really good part of the book! ive read this book a bunch of times and ill never ever get bored of it! this was one of my first times listening to it instead of reading it myself. the narrator is really really good at reading it and she has very good character voices. I really hope you like it! it is one of my favorite books.

best book ever!
