Bases are loaded, and these guys are ready to score.

When my friend Keri suggested that I move to Hopeton after a bad breakup, I thought she was crazy. I’d heard about the town’s reputation for welcoming people who were in relationships with more than one person. I had enough trouble holding onto one man, let alone two of them!

But then Keri finds happiness with two wonderful guys of her own and I can’t help but wonder if there’s something to this unconventional town. When I’m randomly offered a job in the front office of Hopeton’s new minor league baseball team, the Cruisers, I figure it’s a sign.

Another sign: when I literally drop into this hot guy’s arms. He’s tall dark and…taken. But that’s okay, it turns out there’s room for a third person in Gabe and Daniel’s relationship.

But these baseball players have a reputation for being players off the field too, and I’ve been cheated on one too many times to believe that they’ve changed their ways for me.

“Bases Loaded” is fast and funny polyamorous romance. This steamy instalove menage romance with a "meet cute", meddling friends intent on matchmaking, and a sweet happily ever for our happy triad.

I was on a quest to find some poly fiction. This definitely hit that mark. However, this story is quite simplistic. The characters are flat with little depth. The storyline, while light, is predictable and lacks richness. It’s like drinking generic soda instead of a root beer float.
