Battling with PTSD

Matt was in rough shape when he was called back up to serve in a job that only he could do with the help of old teammates including one in a coma they were able to accomplish their mission.

Unique and Imaginative

The story was thrilling and kept me guessing. This was a master class in world building, and the characters all had some measure of endearing qualities. The science was sound and the narration was well executed. Another fabulous book by an amazing author!

Great story

I wasn't sure about this one, but I love Tom Taylorson, and I'm glad I listened. If you like sci-fi, I'm sure you'll enjoy this.

Fun mix of mind-brain interface tech and aliens

Matt’s PTSD and a development of cutting edge technology collide when he’s recalled to the battlefield. I enjoyed Matt’s perspective and following him along this special ops mission in space. The aliens and tech aspect were well written and the pacing kept me excited through the end. I would enjoy listening to the next. The narration was very well done.

Great story!

I loved EVERYTHING about this book. The characters were well defined and had depth and clear motivations. The aliens, Charlie especially, were wonderful, inadvertently funny (at times) and complex. The narrator was spot on! Very entertaining and engaging all around. I hope that there will be another book following this (the ending hints at another mission to come). I also enjoyed the afterwords from the author; further expanding on the science vs science fiction in the book.
