Meet the Beacon Street Girls...They're real, they're fun-they're just like you!

Love is in the air at Abigail Adams Junior High.

There’s a big dance coming up, and the BSG are having fun thinking up dream dates. But as the day of the dance approaches, things start to get complicated. Why is Dillon paying more attention to Avery than Maeve? And why is Nick spending so much time with Chelsea, when everyone knows he and Charlotte are made for each other? Who will the BSG share the last dance with?©2008 Annie Bryant; (P)2008 Listening Library

Would you consider the audio edition of Beacon Street Girls #14 to be better than the print version?

No because Isabel sometimes draws pictures and in the audible edition, you can't see it, But I like the way each beacon street girl has her own narrotor which makes it less confusing.

What did you like best about this story?

I like the part when Charlotte and Avery find out the Marty is lovesick. I also like the part when Henry Yurt asks Isabel for a purple heart and he is so dramatic about it. Finally, I enjoy the part when Nick asks Chelsea to dance but just wanted to make her feel better but Charlotte just got a misunderstanding.

Which character – as performed by the narrator – was your favorite?

My favorite characters in this story were Charlotte and Maeve.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I enjoy this book overall, although it didn't make me cry, I was amused when Nick asked Charlotte to meet him at the bakery but he had to go to a meeting with Chelsea and Charlotte showed up for nothing.

Any additional comments?

I like the way each narrator get into character, so like when it's a sad part, they don't sound happy and I also enjoy the way the narrators can change their voice rather quickly, i especially like it when Cassandra Campbell does it.

awesome narrators
