I’ve been haunted by the first book since finishing it a year ago, and this one makes you fall in love with a whole new cast while expanding the world, the mythos, and its mysteries... only to tie everything back together brilliantly and punch you in the stomach.
I ached for Liya and Tian the whole way through.
