Very basic

Not as in depth as I hoped it would be. I'm looking into getting bees and was hoping this would get me started. Unfortunately it didn't help much.

A quick crash course

Not terribly deep, but a good quick overall crash course on beekeeping. a good quick lesson if you're thinking about getting into beekeeping

Too basic

I learned more in my half-day basic beekeeping class. I wish I could get my credit back.

NOT a beekeeping guide!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This book is barely acceptable as an overview of beekeeping for someone who is NOT planning to have a hive. The author mentions but does not elaborate upon many basics. Very disappointing, not useful at all if you're planning to start keeping bees.

Would you ever listen to anything by Bowe Packer again?

No, I would not.

How could the performance have been better?

The performance could only have been enhanced by better subject matter. No way to fix this.
