Horses are not easy.

The first section to this book is 3 minutes long and in that small amount of time the author successfully outlines what the book will be about and helps you decide if you should continue reading. Through a heartbreaking story the author demonstrates that horses can go through tough medical conditions just like humans. On top of that they are not an animal that is low maintenance. The first section was not the exception. Every single chapter was packed full of information and I’ve learned a lot about horses.

You will learn everything you need to know in this book. The author covers everything from the habitat to a horse routine. In great detail, the author explains every step. Each section is outlined and detailed helpfully and not in an overwhelming way. After reading/listening to this book, you will be prepared to move your horse in and begin your bonding experience.

Amazing Resources

This narrator did a great job reading the information and kept me engaged. The book itself had a great amount of information that makes me feel more informed on horses. I am a little overwhelmed and will give it another listen to digest everything. What I found really helpful was the extra resources listed at the end to really help a future horse owner in everything they will need.

Great Book!

This was a great book that gave me all of the education I was looking for. I did not think caring for a horse would be easy. I admire the author for taking care of horses to the caliber that she does for the amount of time that she has. Who knew there were so many components to caring for your own horse. Every section was extremely helpful and guided me towards the decisions I needed to make. Great book and narrator! Worth the listen.
