"Come on, guys. We're going to be late!" Marie yelled from the kitchen of the three-bedroom ranch she shared with her husband, Bill, and their two children, Mason, and Pheobe. Marie made her family a quick breakfast of toasted waffles covered with either peanut butter or chocolate hazelnut spread depending on who was eating it. The children ran to the table quickly, eating their food before rushing back upstairs to get dressed and brush their teeth. Like many small-town families, Marie's never had enough time in the morning to get everything done and everyone out of the door on time. This morning was like any other in so many ways except... what was happening outside the four walls of their average home. Unannounced to Marie and her family, there was a virus spreading across the globe, turning everyday friends and loved ones into undead killing machines. And so it begins...
