Great structure and framework

I liked that the events were laid out chronologically. The author was thorough and connected a lot of dots in a meaningful way.

Fabulous and scholarly

I love that he used a perfect scholarly approach and presented multiple ideas over pushing his own narrative. Part 2 was fabulous use of the Book of Mormon and the Feasts as types of His coming.

Quite a good book with a lot of excellent insights! Narrator felt like AI at times. Also some problems with tertiary sources.

The book had quite a few amazing points, particularly in the latter half. I absolutely loved his additional, unexplored insights into BoM as a type of the last days. Also the look at Abraham, Isaac and Rebekah, plus Ruth and Boaz as types of the Second Coming wedding feast were positively wonderful.
The only real problems I had were with some problematic theories and tertiary sources in the first half of the book—particularly those surrounding the lost 10 tribes, etc. I suppose, though, that if I wanted to agree with everything in a book I should just write one myself. 🤓
I also had a problem with the narrator. His accent was occasionally distracting and at times his reading and pronunciation felt more like AI. I had to check early on to see if it had been actually been recorded by a human.
All things considered, it was an excellent, insightful book and I’ll definitely draw on it for future reference. I’d suggest also listening to the podcast, “Signs of the Second Coming of Christ” by Shaun Bailey on Spotify. This book enlightened me in many ways, but Shaun’s podcast left me with a burning, urgent desire to build Zion. That might just be because long form podcasts are easier to engage with in that manner.
I’d actually love to see these two work together in some form—be it podcast, book, or lecture series.
