New author for me

This is the first book from Gist & Bertrand that I’ve listened to. But it won’t be my last! This book had heart pounding suspense and several twists and turns! Kept me guessing until just before the end!

this was an odd book. I didn't mind the story, it wasn't exactly edge of your seat thriller or anything. The romance was kind of thrown into the mix but not developed to the extent that you would really think they were madly in love. It was read okay and written fine enough to be a light entertaining, unbelievable type tale. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it but also wouldn't say not to listen.

Action packed with romance included

This was a cute story. All the characters were pretty good. It kept you guessing until the very end. the end was shocking and exciting.

Captivating

The story was interesting from the beginning, and only got better as details unfolded. I think Gist has a real talent- everything I’ve read of hers is gold!
