Together, they work to unravel the thread that ties the victims together and solve the mystery of the enigmatic black, gooey substance left behind. But the more they uncover, the more questions arise, leaving them with a perplexing puzzle.

Severance stands on the brink of a catastrophe. The storms rage simultaneously on land, air, and sea. Will the serial killer be identified before the hurricane unleashes its fury? Or will the town be forced to confront the devastating forces of nature and human evil simultaneously?
