Atticus Blake is an unsuspecting young gay boy who, early on in life, was derailed from the true admission of who he was. Having the influences of obsessive-compulsive disorder, religion, confusion, love, and obsession, he hides who he is from everyone he loves. That is, until his doubts overcame his fear of learning and led him to reason, rationality, and, most of all, acceptance of his sexuality.

I’ve been listening to the Lemme Finish podcast for quite some time now, and I recently decided to buy Atticus’s book. It’s astounding, and his buttery voice only makes it better! He tells a moving story about his life, love, and deconversion, while keeping it interesting all the way through. I connected to this book very closely, as I also deconverted, but at a younger age, and I also suffer from ocd. So you should buy this book, period, full stop. It’s amazing!
