Lys and her family win a chance to be a "real family" on reality TV. That means real money, desperately needed in the rotten economy these days, but they only get that money as long as they stay on the air. What can they do to be real enough to please the viewers?

I hadn't read the summary before listening, so I didn't know what the book was about. I thought it was going to be about a family dealing with being on reality TV, then it reminded me of the movie "The Truman Show", then the book "All Rights Reserved" by Katsoulis. I love the ending. It is hopeful. (And...I better not say anymore, I don't want to spoil it.)

Not what I was expecting but in a good way
