this book is ridiculously simplistic and the suggestions are old school and worthless. basically what he says is if you have ants (automatic negative thoughts) just recognize that they are happening and stop thinking them by realizing that life and your thoughts are not black and white. if healing your mental health where that easy no one would have mental health problems. it's like telling someone with a food addiction, or any addiction to just stop doing what they're addicted to. I listened to this for free and still feel ripped off lol
