Exquisite prose and wondrous storytelling have helped make Rudolfo Anaya the father of Chicano literature in English. Indeed, Anaya's tales shimmer with the haunting beauty and richness of his culture. The winner of the PEN/Center West Award for fiction for his unforgettable novel Alburquerque, Anaya is perhaps best loved for his classic best-seller, Bless Me, Ultima.

This has been the best audio book i have ever used. It reads enthusiastically and is very easy to follow along. At first you think the reader is over doing it but soon love his voice as you quickly follow along the book. This made reading much faster and helped me pull all nighters easily!!!

This story is very interesting which makes me love it. The naration is clear and understandable, I have no complaints there. I just wish when I click on a chapter that it takes me to the beginning of the chapter not the middle or a completely different chapter than what I have intended. If audible could fix that than I'd be happy and give it 5 stars.

Rudolfo Anaya has long been my favorite author. He brings the beliefs and superstitions of my people to life in a way that no author has done. Dario Tangleson did an excellent job of narration. I felt like I was home in my beloved New Mexico once more.

Excellent!
