Give up on YA fiction

I was not expecting a Young Adult book. Not up to par with other books by this author.

Silly Plot

This story was unexpectedly silly and juvenile. The whole plot revolved around silly notions and juvenile expectations. I also was not expecting the “supernatural” spin which is something that has never held my interest. I stopped the book half way through.
