In book one of the BenTed Rescue series, Benny, a cute mutt from Mississippi, tells us his story. Benny must go into an animal shelter when his aging owners can no longer care for him. As he waits and watches the cute puppies being adopted, he dreams of becoming a rescue dog himself.
