Intriguing storyline

Different spin on a viking story line, humorous in sections, made me want to listen to rest of series. Definitely would listen to this Author in the future.

Hate virtual voice

Great storyline and very well written. But the virtual voice narration just kills it for me.

This story was terrific!
Leif is an Immortal warrior King of Freya and Odin, fighting to stop Loki from bringing about Ragnarok.
Naya is on the run from the people that kept her and her brother imprisoned in a lab where they were both tortured and experimented on and enhanced.
Spicy, fated mates, norse mythology, and Naya is a strong and kickass FMC - Loved the story and am looking forward to more!!

However.... and this has no reflection on my rating/review of the book itself
This was my first introduction to an AI narrator, that i am aware of.
The voice was human sounding enough, there was even a bit of an accent that fit in with the story, but there was absolutely no emotion or inflection behind it what so ever. There were several words that were mispronounced. And for anybody that regularly listens to audiobooks, all this was blatantly obvious. I hated it and will never do an AI narrator again. It was like having a monotone sociopath read a story to you.

These Are Engaging Stories

So many of the females in stories are broken but I suppose it’s still entertaining to watch them and love interests to grow together. I did enjoy the story. I was angered when the voice said “click here for more of the story of Naya and Leif, but there is nowhere to click! Thumbs down to that!
