Robert Sheckley
Is a robot on a distant planetoid a substitute for a relationship with a woman Mark had never met? Is it a glimpse of the future from a classic science fiction writer? It is a first glimpse at artificial intelligence? This wonderful tale can take readers down differing tales. Perhaps it only matters what interests you. Narrated by Glenn Hascall

Robert Sheckley is one of the all-time masters in science fiction when it comes to the medium of short stories. "Beside Still Waters" is not his best, not even close, but it's still a fun little story. I'm a sucker for talking robots. As I mentioned in this review's title, the story flirts with being pretty cheesy at times but if you can get over that, you'll probably really enjoy this one.
You can also get this story within "Untouched By Human Hands" on Audible, which is actually a pretty well made collection of Sheckley's short stories. I recommend grabbing that one instead of this.
