The Best!!!!

Do you have that book that you wish you could read again for the first time just to experience all the raw emotion again? If you don't know what I am talking about, read this book! Cooper and Story's love story is one written in the stars, if they could just stay in their own world. Cooper is completely smitten with Story the first time he lays eyes on her, despite her being at a party with his enemy. Fast forward 6 months, a storm rolls through the town knocking out power everywhere but Story's cafe and apartment. From the moment they begin interacting, both of them know they are in trouble. Cooper has finally found someone who he wants to be good for and Story finds the one person that will help her learn to trust again. For 6 months, they live in a bliss they think will last forever, but just like the storm that brought Cooper into the cafe, their world is blown apart. Can true love overcome every outside obstacle, or will a mother's love turn outweigh their happily ever after? This book is definitely a one click!

Amazing!!

I love this book! It was an amazing journey of emotion. I kept seeing this book on my Facebook feed and I finally went a head and got the audiobook and listened while I was at work. I wish I would have done it sooner.

heartbreaking

This is a book that is going to warm your heart, then break it, and then put it back together. Story and Cooper were a fated pair that were going to end up together no matter what, even if it took a few years. Their love story happened fast but you could tell it was a real epic kind of love. They were complete opposites in how they grew up, but their souls matched perfectly. They each had something horrible in their past that they endured but together they could forget everything and be happy. I think it is impossible not to fall in love with Story and Cooper.

Unfortunately, their story proves that despite loving each other wholly and completely, that sometimes it isn’t enough. Cooper’s family, being the biggest hindrance to their relationship, had a different life planned for Cooper. Then a few misunderstandings on what was keeping them apart led them to a 6 year break. When they were reunited, their feelings for each other felt like they were never apart, yet they still had so much to work through. It was nice to see that Cooper did not get angry at Story for keeping his son from him, but I did feel they wasted too much time before telling Reed that Cooper was his dad. The narrators did an amazing job

Swoon Worth and so romantic

I must say that I think this was the most romantic story that I have read in a long time. You can't help but fall in love with Cooper and Story, their chemistry is perfect. They are the kind of couple that you want to see together forever. But don't be surprised when you find out that S.L. Scott has a few tricks up her sleeve with this story, as much as you love Cooper and Story, there are other characters that you will loathe. This story has all of the feels, heartbreak, joy, happiness, betrayal, and redemption. I couldn't put this book down and I still can't stop thinking about it even though I finished the book. It is a must read with a HEA.

I loved everything about this book! You get the love, drama, some angst, and a HEA!! How can you go wrong with that??
