Hannah Clark: I used to loathe Crawford Cross. He was the most infuriating, cocky guy at Lake City high. And now? Now he's the guy I'm hopelessly in love with. Even after he broke my heart. He's still cocky, but he's also sweet, funny, and loving. My mom says time will heal my wound. I'll move on. But there's no getting over Ford. This year is unlike any other. It's my senior year, and I'm going to make every moment matter, and that includes being with Ford.

Ford Cross: There are two things I love more than anything, football and Hannah Clark. I'm a five-star rated high school quarterback with my pick to play at almost any college in the country. I just need to pick one. But if I had to choose between football and Hannah, I'd pick Hannah without a second thought. Hannah is the most sarcastic person I've ever met. She's also the kindest, sweetest, and most determined person I know. And I'm madly in love with her. Senior year is going to be a roller coaster ride, and I want Hannah next to me the entire way.

Buckle up and get ready as Hannah and Ford get excited about their senior year, football, dance, and being a couple. But they need to watch out, a fan website dedicated to Ford is about to cause all sorts of problems for Lake City High's most popular lovebirds.

The man who narrated Ford’s part just ruined it for me. If I wasn’t so committed to the story, and
also a busy mom of 3, I’d 1000% never have finished this book. The ultra deep voices usually cast for the male role in many romances also drive me insane, but this is too much of the extreme in the opposite direction. His normal voice really wasn’t great, but his attempts at a female voice during his chapters was like nails on a a chalkboard.

I’m not one to leave reviews & I typically loathe to be so rudely critical, but it just has to be said. The intimate scenes, in particular, were just plain ruined, despite them having so much potential.

And if I’m being honest I wish the author got a bit more steamy. She got so close during a few intimate scenes throughout the series, but many were just a darn tease.

I loved the entire concept of the book, just wish it was less generally squeaky clean (what 17/18 year old says “making love?” None, that’s how many)! and had a bit more spicy detail added to the intimate scenes. Judge me, I don’t care!

But, yeah, recast & re-record with a new male narrator is a baseline suggestion in order for 99.9% of people to enjoy listening to this story.

For the love of god, get a new man for Ford’s role!
