Good Story

This is an interesting tale. Honor can't be bought. Murder and greed deserve their Just reward. There is a hint of romance and a lot of mystery. Good job.

Pleasantly surprised

Logan is a badass and I loved the story of a sister on a path to get justice for her brother. The slow burn love story also makes this one worthwhile. Whilst I predicted who the killer was, it was an enjoyable journey to see him revealed. Sharon Sala has a new fan and I will definitely be reading her other stories

It starts with a harrowing night when 16 yr old Logan Conway lives through a shooting outside her home in Bluejacket, Louisiana. When her brother Damon then receives a late night call to meet someone about a high paying job, Logan hides in the bed of his pickup. She’s devastated when her brother is murdered, but has the determination to bury him, then pack up and leave town before the killer comes looking for her. She vows to get justice for her brother and can finally come back 10 years later.
The story is primarily about murder with just a little bit of romance used for accent and *zero* sexy times.outsideout
Eby does a decent job of narration.

The strength and promise of a girl

Loved the main character. Logan is a strong young woman set on solving the mystery of her brother’s murder. Well rounded story with just the right atmosphere of Louisiana.
