More of what you already love

I'd forgotten how much I missed these characters and this world.
My only problem with this book is that there wasn't more.

A return to a beloved series

Loved that each story had its own narrator and that readers got to be back with their favorite characters for a bit.

Perfect

I just love this world. I was actually missing this series and then this book came out.
It is a perfect mix of short stories spanning 3 century's and generations. These beloved characters I really can't get enough of.
**Please note that the book is good on its own but it is so much better if you read/listened to all the other books before. It will mean so much more and you will get more out of it.

I've missed the shadowhunter world

this was exactly what I needed to get out of my reading slump. I do wish so very badly that Cassandra would finish the shadowhunter world. I feel that there are too many unfinished books. but this book does give you a peek into our beloved Shadowhunters lives it's just not enough. so give stars because I love this world but personally the author gets 2 stars until she finishes this world. we have all been suffering sense we were teens I am now almost 30. 😭

The gift of love

Cassandra Clare has a gift; that’s the gift of creating characters that you cannot help but to love. I have always loved her characters, but now, after hearing “about” Ash, I don’t even know him yet and I love him. I want to know more about him, I want him to be cared for and loved and good.
All of these stories are a great reminder of why we love these characters and are constantly rooting for them.
A wonderful book full of stories written beautifully and narrated by experts.
