Great story with the best narrator

Kate Forbes brings every book home... she is superb in her narration abilities... great storyline performed spot on!!!

not a clean romantic suspense

I purchased this because I enjoyed the previous trilogy by Mann. she is grouped with other Christian romantic suspense authors I enjoy. The mystery plot was good, but the use of "as hell" as a frequent descriptor and the inclusion of 2 sex scenes soured the story for me. I expected a clean romantic suspense but got a Harlequin novel instead.

Not an innocent clean Romance.

Hell and sex scenes do not qualify as clean. Spent the entire book talking about wanting each other.

Bait and switch

Although, I enjoyed the author’s previous novels this one seemed to deviate from her norm; she is now writing long rambling smut.
