Beyond a Reasonable Donut is the 5th wonderful book in Ginger Bolton’s Deputy Donut Mystery series. Emily Westhill owns Deputy Donuts and they have a fritter stand at the Faker’s Dozen Festival. A mime creates a distraction and a magician steals money from them. A bucket of confectioners sugar is stolen from the donut mobile and they find it later along with a dead body. Emily’s coworker and friend Nina is a suspect. Samantha and Hooligan are getting married! That adds some fun to the story. This is such an enjoyable series and the characters are awesome! I always look forward to the next book. The audiobook narrated by Emily Durante is very well done and the characters come to life.
