What an amazing and revealing walk through Alex’s life. How he followed his passion and with help from god overcame all the obstacles and pressures that are Hollywood. You feel like you are there with him at the Emmys, when he meets … Johnny Carson, Dolly Parton, Jay Leno, plus all the actors, producers and musicians he encountered. There is even a brush with the mafia. A great entertaining read while highlighting the impact of faith in our lives.

I was thumbing through books to watch because I’ve been struggling with just the same old sermons on TV or YouTube and I stumbled across Alex’s book “Beyond the Hollywood Sign”and honestly, it was just the cover artwork picture which grabbed my interest, but I wasn’t expecting much.

As I began to listen to his story, it truly became a riveting and exciting true story testimony where I couldn’t wait to get to the next chapter and learn more about his Odyssey through this thing we call life and the darkness he encountered as a child and young adult delving into Hollywood and some of the tangent wickedness associated with it. He’s lived a truly Hollywood story but it gets even better!

He goes in a great detail on how he came to the Lord Jesus Christ and exactly what life has been like walking with Him afterwards. I’ll leave the details to the book to be unfolded by you but trust me…it’s really worth it folks.

I highly, highly & highly again recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a fresh way to get closer to God for the first time or get back on fire for God because this book will help you cleanse out many of the areas of your life you need to as well as lift you up and how God can transform one sinner’s life just like mine so I hope you take a chance to read it. It’s worth the minimal cost and 9.5 hours of time for sure. Thanks again Alex for helping me.
