Frank's woman kidnapped, a frantic chase across worlds, an interdimensional uprising, and all with the surly father-in-law to be in tow. What could be worse? How about being drafted by the Almighty? Trapped on a strange and hostile planet, forced to deal with an alien insurrection, Frank and Longinus scramble to save Karra from the clutches of a rebel overlord bent on revenge. All in a day's work for the devil inherent.

Continue the series
As always with anything Tim Marquitz writes, the plot moves along at a brisk pace, never lagging or feeling tired, The characters are well drawn out, with snappy dialogue, especially from Frank, who is an unabashed smartass. The snark, even in the tensest scenes, is always there, making sure what is in some ways the darkest book in the series, still humorous enough that it doesn't distract or buzzkill the enjoyment. Any fans of Simon Greens Nightside or Secret History books or JF Lewis's Void city books should jump all over this urban fantasy masterpiece!
God and Lucifer, together at last!

This book was the final for me as well. I know our main man is son of Lucifer, but the constant lust dialogue and grossness in battle scenes is too much.
The premise was interesting for this series, pure fantasy of course, but the portrayal of Jesus and God the Father is a total abomination. Don’t know what early experiences shaped the author’s life, but his writing displays a bitterness and rebellion against God that is beyond the pale. A Sci-Fi themed universe that carries similar themes, but is based on real fantasy would have been preferable . The writing is offensive enough, almost as if designed to trigger. Instead I feel sad and hope this author finds his way to the savior and repents.
