Cute

Cute storyline, Penny is a cute FMC and Marcus is a great MMC. All of the background stories are strong and resolved, the characters definitely grow and progress and there are some fun developments in the end.

The female narrator has also grown and progressed and doesn’t have her annoying quirk that she had in the first book in the series 😁 where she over-enunciates the dialogue between characters giving them an odd accent!

There are some sexy times, but not many and this is far from erotica. I’d say this is more of a PG - PG13 book.

I love the genuine love he has for her even when he doesn’t know it yet.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters each have their own trauma stories that lead them to work together. 💕

Great story, narrative not so great

I love your books but please change the male narrator as he uses the same California valley boy surfer dude and it gets aggravating after a while.

Entertaining

A sweet, entertaining and heartfelt romance. I adored Marcus and Penny. Their chemistry is off the charts, their banter is witty but the bond they developed was simply amazing. I enjoyed everything about this story.
