If it knocks four times -- don’t answer.

When Liam inherits his late uncle’s remote hunting cabin deep in the Ridge 9 backwoods, he expects quiet isolation — not claw marks on trees, not torn-up trail cams, and certainly not a journal filled with paranoid ramblings about "four knocks" in the night.

But the deeper Liam digs into his uncle’s final days, the more disturbing the entries become — detailing a presence that circles the cabin, leaves no tracks, and never comes in… unless you open the door.

Now snowed in, with no way to contact the outside world, Liam finds himself alone — until something starts knocking. Always four times.

This is Bigfoot as you've never encountered it before — intelligent, ancient, and watching.

The story was great. The building of suspense was great. The characters were good. I just feel a little cheated at the end, but not all scary stories end with everybody surviving and living happily ever after.

With a long gone out of ghost story

Won’t write a long review. Just want to say that I enjoyed this story! Moving on to the next Bigfoot tale from this author.

Another solid story

I really enjoyed it. One of Ethan Blackwood’s better audiobooks, ( and I’ve listened to a whole bunch of his audiobooks ). Instead of merely numbering the chapters he, instead, names them. I think this extra flourish shows how much Ethan Blackwood enjoyed writing this particular character in this particular situation-and it shows. This story is much more interesting than the usual small group arguing with each other on their way into the monster’s lair. Good audio book.

Adventure excellente!

Weak story, thin character development, vague ending with no clear sense of what was really happening

good narration despite lack of pronunciation
